MySejahtera‘s platform where all information regarding Covid-19 and vaccines being displayed is currently experiencing bugs that it sent out new vaccine appointments by mistake.
This includes booster shots for youths (under the age of 18) and those who have already had their third dose or known as booster injection.
It has been announced by Ministry of Health (MOH) that through the application, qualified individuals will receive their appointments immediately.
As for now, Covid-19 vaccine boosters are only compatible to adults aged above 18 years old and only one booster shot is required.
The MOH is advising parents and guardians to cancel booster vaccination appointments for their minor children aged 17 and under.
Individuals who have already had their boosters, as well as youths who have been completely vaccinated, will be turned away from vaccination centers, that are currently aware of the arising problem.
The MySejahtera technical team is currently working to resolve the problem, and they apologise for any trouble this has caused.
