Yoshiro Mori, the Tokyo Olympics Chief quoted earlier saying women talk too much during an executive meeting of the Japanese Olympic Committee that was held online.
He also mentioned that that meetings with many female board directors would “take a lot of time”.

“You have to regulate speaking time to some extent,” Mori said. “Or else we’ll never be able to finish,” he added.
Mori is the former prime minister of Japan and overseeing the Tokyo Olympics.
He later apologized for his sexist comments but said he would not resign.

This incident sparked a backlash on social media around the world.
Some of the internet users urged sponsors to pressure the organizing committee into dropping Mori’s position in the committee.
