As the economy takes a plunge due to worldwide country shut downs, many firms are taking significant cost cutting measures by laying off existing workers.
Bytedance (TikTok’s parent company) on the other hand, is aggressively hiring, announcing over 100 available jobs in Singapore.
ByteDance, which originates from China, is famous for producing the TikTok (video social networking) and Toutiao (social news) apps, with billions of users worldwide.

Currently, over 10,000 open positions are available across the company’s brands, with 100 new positions being available in Singapore.
The aim of these new positions are to expand and grow the company’s e-commerce and gaming influence across the world.
