SpaceX’s prototype Starship SN9, carrying the company’s hope to travel to Mars, crashed in an explosion again today.
The Starship exploded during an upright landing attempt minutes after lift-off.
This was the second explosion after the previous prototype failed and faced a similar fate in December 2020.

Elon Musk, the company’s founder, was surprisingly quiet on social media
He tweeted on Twitter: “off Twitter for a while,” the night before the test.

A SpaceX announcer mentioned on a live footage “We had again another great flight”, “We’ve just got to work on that landing a little bit,” he added.
