Dr. Muhamad Mutaza, a doctor from Wales, had no choice to sell his family car to pay off his son’s in-app purchase.

He allowed his 7 year-old son to play a game called Dragon: Rise of Berk using his iPhone for 1 hour because it’s a free game.

In a short period of 60 minuets, his son managed to run up to 30 in-app purchases and ended up a total bill of $1800 in-app purchase.

Apple did send a notification for each purchase, but those were sent to an email address that the he rarely uses.

Although Apple did a refund of $290, Dr. Mutaza had to sell his Toyota family car to be able to pay off the bill.
