Rurouni Kenshin: The Final movie is now available for streaming on Netflix.

The Final is a live adaption movie based on the popular Japanese manga series, Rurouni Kenshin, which was originally created by comic artist Nobuhiro Watsuki.

The live adaption movie series has 5 episodes in total, with episode 4 (The Final) and episode 5 (The Beginning) scheduled to be released this year.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Final‘s storyline is based on the Jinchuu Arc from the manga series, taking place after Himura Kenshin’s battle with Shishio Makoto.

It was initially released in Japan back in April 2021, and made its way to Netflix last Friday, 18th May.

Alongside the The Final‘s release, Netflix is also streaming the very first episode of the live series, Rurouni Kenshin: Origins (released in 2012).

The 5th and final episode, Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning just hit theatres this week in Japan.

As of now, no news of the 5th episode’s release date on Netflix has been announced.
