Sony may have to delay the release of the PlayStation 5 in India after someone in Delhi registered “PS5” trademark.

A person in Delhi named Hitesh Aswani registered the “PS5” trademark on 29th October 2019 and it appears to be the first “PS5” trademark in the country. Sony didn’t file for trademark until 6 February 2020.

Gamers will not be given the pre-order opportunity in India because Sony can’t sell its console named “PS5” in the country until it has the rights to do so.
Although PlayStation 5 is due to launch in November, a delay is highly likely.

The good thing is Sony filed trademarks for PS6, PS7, PS8, PS9, and PS10 in Japan back in 2019.
Gamers around the world can’t wait to get their hands on both white and black versions of the PS5 on November.
Only in India will someone try this shit
