Malaysia’s equity crowd funding (ECF) platform, Mystartr, has set a new record in the country by helping Lockin, a local startup, raise US$2.5 million (MYR 10,000,000).
Lockin (by Subplace) is a smart-home startup from Malaysia, who raised the amount in just 4 days.
A total of 275 investors participated in the round.

Mystartr is a licensed equity crowdfunding platform registered under Malaysia’s Securities Commission established to assist SMEs and startup companies in the country funraise.
Mystartr also provides education for investors and access to qualified deal-flow from within the country.
Founded by Goh Boon Peng and William Lien, to date, Mystartr has fundraised a total of MYR 29,168,326 (US$ 6.9 million) from 3000 investors for the startups listed on its platform.
