Malaysians are about to have a very unique cinema experience real soon.
M-Junction, the first-ever “drive-in cinema” in Malaysia, is expected to launch some time later this year.
The news was first announced on the company’s official Facebook page, a collaboration between TwoSpicy Entertainment Live and MD Events Asia.
Going to the movies is something very normal for Malaysians, up until recently when the pandemic broke out.
With drive-in cinemas, not only will social distancing be a lot easier, patrons can now enjoy the movie experience from the comfort of their own car.
Whether this will take off in Malaysia is yet to be known, but it definitely seems like a great way for couples to enjoy the evening.
As of 1st July 2020, cinemas across the country have resumed operations, although most of the movies currently being aired are re-runs.
