A new app is rising in popularity among gamers recently, and it wants to help people turn their content into a source of income.
MEGPlay, a social app for gamers and streamers, is now paying users every time their followers chat with them or interact with their posts.

Like many social apps, MEGPlay allows users to publish short content, follow their favorite creators, as well as exchange messages with each other.
However with MEGPlay, there is one major difference — users receive points when:
- Another user starts chatting with them for the first time.
- Another user sends them a “virtual gift”.
Points accumulated can then be withdrawn as cash to their local bank accounts once the user has reached the minimum withdrawal threshold.

Since its introduction a few days ago, several prominent gaming influencers across Asia have started using the app as a platform to grow their influence and income.
According to MEGPlay founder, Constance Lim, she adds that this addition will also serve as a great way to support content creators such as cosplayers, models, and creative artists in the market.
Moving forward, the company will focus on improving the application to make the experience more fun, as well as rewarding.
“Gaming is huge, and more and more gamers are becoming content creators today. We want to create a platform that helps them turn their passions into income, in a fun and enjoyable way.”, mentioned Constance Lim, co-founder of MEGPlay.
