Joshua Ponsford, a 23 year old man from the UK has been banned from keeping pets after being prosecuted for verbally abusing his dog, Lulu.

The man pleaded guilty for animal welfare offence after being prosecuted by the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in UK.

He was recorded calling her a “dirty little mutt.” Ponsford was banned from keeping pets for 5 years on Nov 4 2020.

Ponsford can be heard in the recording saying: “get in your f_____g bed now, go in your bed now, now, now you f_____g stay there, you dirty little mutt”

The recording also contains other swear words like “you and your f_____g ball dog. I’ve had enough of all your hiding toys” and “shut it.”

Lulu was signed over into the care of the RSPCA now and Ponsford was asked to pay £200 USD264.62 costs for rehabilitation activity requirements and USD119.08 USD victim surcharge.
