Malaysian comedian, Uncle Roger (Nigel Ng), was attacked out of the blue while walking home in London, according to his Instagram post.
The stand-up comedian and Youtuber, best known for his Uncle Roger persona, posted on 30 Oct that the assault occurred while he was walking home from lunch.
According to Nigel, the attacker just wanted to attack an Asian bypasser out of spite. When asked why he was being attacked, the assailant simply replied “You know what you did”.
“I don’t think he knew who I was either. I think he was just trying to punch an Asian face.”
Nigel Ng is a Malaysian comedian based in London who rose to fame over his reaction video: Uncle Roger DISGUSTED by this Egg Fried Rice Video (BBC Food) that went viral on social media. He now has over 2.3 million followers on Youtube.
