Popular Malaysian comedian, Dr. Jason Leong, will soon be having his first ever show on Netflix.
The comedy special, titled Dr. Jason Leong: Hashtag Blessed, will be premiered on Netflix in September 2020 .
The news first broke 2 days ago when Leong addressed his fans via live stream on his social media pages.
Formerly a medical doctor, Leong rose to fame in 2013 after his win at the Annual International Hong Kong Comedy Festival that year. He was also the first Malaysian to win at the iconic event.
Since then, Leong has gone on to perform at various shows across the region and even in the United States.
“I’m excited to be on Netflix. Now the world can see how good I am at stand-up comedy. And also my humility. When it comes to being humble, I am the best. And also comedy. Yes,” he jokes sarcastically.
