Cherry Blossom (Sakura) trees are usually found in Japan, but this year, the Capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, has seen one of its best Sakura blooms.

The Kuala Lumpur City Hall has planted over 10,000 Sakura trees over the past few years, transforming the city into something of a “Sakura Paradise”.

Netizens suggested that the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia should promote this “Sakura paradise” to tourists as a more cost effective alternative than visiting Japan.

Not only in the Capital of Malaysia, netizens also spotted the enchanting scene in other cities like Puchong, Putrajaya, Selayang, and other states in Malaysia such as Johor Bahru, and Miri.
