Dr. Mahathir will continue to manage the country’s administration until a new candidate for Prime Minister is appointed and the Cabined is formed, according to Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali.
This is the second time Dr Mahathir has quit his post, making him both Malaysia’s longest-serving and shortest-serving Prime Minister.
Dr Mahathir is now 94 years old, the oldest Prime Minister in the world today..
