She left a message expressing her amazement at the collaboration, calling it a “blessing.”
Renowned jewelry designer Cindy Chao, who admires Likhong’s songs, is excited to host the brand’s VVIP guests at the concert.
Hsu Feng, the producer of the movie “Farewell My Concubine” and a two-time Golden Horse award-winning actress, has always been an admirer of Leehom’s talent and holds a deep affection for him. Leehom affectionately calls her “Auntie Hsu Feng.” She has pledged to return from Shanghai to Taiwan on September 9th to watch the concert and show her support. Leehom has watched “Farewell My Concubine” 19 times, and his classic song “Hero of the World” pays tribute to the film.
In a bid to facilitate overseas audiences’ ticket purchases for Leehom’s Taipei concert, Kwan’s International will be collaborating with the travel website “Ctrip.com.” This initiative aims to enhance the experience of Taiwan’s tourism, showcasing a novel blend of culture, innovation, and travel.
For the Taipei concert, Kwan’s International has invited the esteemed stage designer Zhou Bingkun, a Hong Kong concert hall-of-famer, to join the show. The concert’s theme, “ONE,” will be developed using the concept of cubes, which can be presented individually or combined, creating a unique and innovative Taipei stage where “a lot of ‘one’s’ are ‘everyone’s’.”
Kwan’s International has also assembled a “heavenly group” of international musicians to perform with Li-Hong. The group includes Jamie Wilson, Casey Subramaniam on bass, Aubrey Suwito on keyboards, and Sarah Thawer on drums, all of whom are popular choices.
Chiu Li-Kwan stated that the repertoire for this Taipei concert will differ from the previous two stops. The audience can visit Kwan’s International’s Facebook or Instagram page to leave their comments on which songs they would like to hear Leehom perform. The songs with the highest rankings will have a greater chance of being included in the concert.
