La Nina, the oceanic and atmospheric phenomenon that delivers extreme winters is on its way to Asia.
Several countries such as China, Japan, Korea & India, could face the worse winter, adding salt to a wound as these regions are also facing energy crisis.

Colder winter will add heating demand during the season, top energy consumption country like China may face challenges such as surging fuel prices and power shortages.
“We are expecting temperatures to be colder than normal this winter across north-eastern Asia,” said Renny Vandewege, vice-president of weather operations at data provider DTN.
