The world’s highest luxury hotel, J Hotel Shanghai, has opened its doors to the public.
J Hotel is situated at the top of the 632-metre Shanghai Tower, on the 120th floor of one of the tallest skyscrapers in China, the second tallest building in the world.
The hotel has 7 restaurants, bars, a spa, and all the other usual utilities of top-grade hotels, including a swimming pool on the 84th floor.
The hotel houses 165 rooms, including 34 suites.
Currently, the hotel is offering a “special experience rate” of $450 a night, and US$10,352 a night for a suite, complete with crystal chandeliers and a sauna.
“On the day of our opening even the web page was overloaded with so many visitors with strong interest and they have such (a) strong will to come and experience our hospitality,” said Renee Wu, sales and marketing director.
