A team of archeologists in Israel made an extraordinary discovery as they found an incredibly intact chicken egg that is about 1000 years old.
The team, Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) found the egg in the ancient industrial zone of Yavneh, a city in the central Israel.

This is an extremely rare find but unfortunately, the egg was broken in a lab run by IAA, making it a scientific loss.
However, one of the archaeologist argued that the mishap didn’t have much effect on its archeological value.
The yolk remained in the shell can still being tested for DNA even the shell was broken.
