‘Lima’ has been invited to the 16th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival scheduled for September.
Lola Amaria, the film director, received the invitation from Tatarstan Culture Minister Irada Ayupova.
Presenting more than 500 films from 50 countries, the annual event aimed to promote inter-religions tolerance, traditional values, dedication to the homeland, respect for the elderly and love for children.

‘Lima’ is about the implementation of the five principles in Indonesia’s state philosophy Pancasila, including upholding diversity and religious tolerance.
“Indonesia is pursuing closer economic and cultural ties with Muslim-majority Tatarstan. Indonesia will also participate in the 12th International Economic Summit with a theme ‘Russia-Islamic World: Kazan Summit 2020’ on June 18-20,” Indonesian Ambassador to Russia Wahid Supriyadi said.
