Melaka’s culture and arts reflect its diverse heritage and history. Persatuan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Kreatif Melaka will collaborate with Tadika Genius Gemilang to organize an event, “Hari Melaka Bandaraya Bersejarah x Hari Keluarga” to promote Melaka’s culture and art.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 7.00am to 12.00pm at SMJK Katholik Melaka.
Why Organize Hari Melaka Bandaraya Bersejarah?
MCACA organize this event to educate parents and children about Melaka’s culture, and they expect 400 participants to join the event. Participants get to learn more about Melaka’s culture through the Base Game, which the organizers designed.
There are a few Base Game stations to complete. After completing all the Base Game Stations, each group will be given a puzzle piece. The puzzle piece will be used in the final game to complete the Melaka State Flag.
The organizer hopes to educate parents and children about Melaka’s history and culture through the event and at the same time, encourage family harmony and build a safer and more peaceful Melaka community.

About The Organizers
Persatuan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Kreatif Melaka (MCACA), is a non-governmental organization (NGO). A group of youngsters realized that the arts and culture of Melaka have gradually faded away as time passed, which is why they formed MCACA.
MCACA is involved in various activities and programs to promote Melaka’s culture and arts. To attract the younger generation, the activities that MCACA organizes are in a more youthful way to pass on Melaka’s cultural and artistic heritage.
To allow cultural and artistic workers in Melaka to be recognized and inject business thinking to balance culture and business, MCACA operates non-profit organizations in a platform manner.
Tadika Genius Gemilang, formally known as Genius Star, is one of the organizers. It was established in 2006. It currently has two centers which are located at Taman Semabok Perdana and Taman Bukit Katil Damai 2.
Tadika Genius Gemilang aims to provide a safe and nurturing indoor-outdoor environment for children to discover, explore and learn.
All teachers at Tadika Genius Gemilang are carefully selected, highly qualified, passionate about early childhood education, united and friendly.
