Dragon Ball fans all around the world have declared the 9th of May as Goku Day, but this year is a little different.
Toei Animation & Akira Toriyama (the creator of Dragon Ball) revealed that there is an upcoming new Dragon Ball Super movie.

The movie is expected to be out in 2022, with an unexpected character potentially making an appearance according to Akira.
Fans around the world coined 9th May as “Goku Day” simply because the Japanese pronunciation of “59” is similar to Go-ku (go-kyuu).
The recent announcement has hyped fans across the globe, going viral across social media.
