Genting, one of the largest hospitality and leisure groups from Malaysia, will be launching a brand new theme park in Q2 2021.
The theme park, which will be located 6000 feet above sea level (at the peak of Genting Highlands), cost a whopping $800 million to build.
The company is reportedly “putting the finishing touches” to its outdoor theme park, Genting SkyWorlds, which will incorporate 20th Century Studios brands and IP among its rides and attractions.
Travel is expected to recover across the world in the coming months, with international travel recovering significantly towards the end of the year.

Malaysia has also been easing movement restrictions over the past 2 weeks weeks after a nationwide lock-down that lasted over 1 month long.
Genting’s shares are up 4% since the announcement of the news.
