The company behind online networking app, BEAMSTART, has announced an effort to help more people find opportunities online during this challenging period.
BEAMSTART mentioned in a statement earlier today that the company will begin hosting free business matching and online networking events on a regular basis in an effort to help businesses find potential clients, as well as assist professionals in connecting with potential career opportunities.
According to the company, these hosted sessions will be held online and conducted via prominent video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
Users will also be able to find a wide range of other online events via the app, ranging from webinars, online workshops, live streams, and more.
Many businesses have suffered significant revenue drops in the recent weeks due to nationwide lock-downs, and many have had to take drastic measures by cutting existing staff.
According to BEAMSTART CEO, Kenneth Ho, he believes that these sessions would not only help create opportunities for the short term, but could potentially become a new norm for businesses in the coming years.
