The police raid took place on a private clinic in Gombak on 14th January.

The police conducted the raid amid information regarding the illicit activities run by the clinic.

These are the information regarding the police raid in Gombak, according to Bernama:

  • Seven suspects aged between 20 to 35 years old arrested, three were women
  • Seized a laptop containing patient’s data to be inputted into MySejahtera system
  • 5,601 patients registered in the MySejahtera system

This operation would target anti-vaxxers or citizens with a fear of vaccines.

They would approach them via Whatsapp or referrals from close acquaintances.

“We are currently investigating how many patients did not receive their vaccination,” said the police chief of Selangor Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed.

This case will be investigated further as it violates both Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 [Act 342] and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 [Act 588.], per MySejahtera guidelines.
