Engage Blink, a customer retention platform that has helped struggling retail businesses go digital during the pandemic lock-downs, is now fundraising to scale across Malaysia and SouthEast Asia.

Founded by serial entrepreneur and restaurant owner Zhen Yang Yap, Engage is a comprehensive app and analytics platform that allows retail owners to create and measure their own loyalty programs.

Since the lock-downs were initiated, Engage has helped generate over RM1,000,000 for retailers via 2,300 customer loyalty redemptions, a formidable feat considering retail businesses were struggling during this period.

A large part of the company’s growth came during the nationwide lock-downs, as many brick and mortar business owners / retailers realized the sudden need to acquire (and retain) customers digitally.

One of such ways Engage Blink managed to support retailers was by allowing them to create captivating experiences for their customers in the form of engagement incentives, allowing loyal customers to earn privilege cards, stamps, rewards, and more.

Through Engage Blink, retail businesses succeeded in keeping their customers returning, many being able to build up a loyal brand following.

Things aren’t stopping here. Moving forward, Engage Blink aims to empower 30,000+ retail businesses across SouthEast Asia while achieving RM50 Million in sales over the next 5 years.

The company even plans to provide customized solutions for large brands, allowing them to offer custom-branded loyalty programs to their existing customer-bases, a potentially huge business opportunity in an untapped space.

To achieve scale, Engage Blink is currently in the process of raising RM500,000 to expand their business operations, and are presently looking to partner with more investors via Mystartr, one of the leading equity crowdfunding companies in Malaysia.
