Singaporean chef Bjorn Shen officially opened Small’s, a four-seat chef’s counter attached to Artichoke. Here, the guests can enjoy an unconventional dining experience: pizza omakase.

Omakase pizza menu (S$500 for four diners) inspired by the pizza Shen used to enjoy growing up in the 80s and 90s.

The place is very private, and a big part of the experience will be the guests’ personal engagement with the chef as he will show them cool ingredients like octopus bottarga, sea grape powder, etc.

Small’s offers the family-style meals three times a week for a group of four diners per night, beginning on February 1.

“I had my first pizza revelation in Japan five years ago—a Neapolitan pie at a tiny, un-hyped shop in Osaka. A year later, I had my mind blown by Roman-style pizza at a fancy place in Tokyo,” Shen said.
