A condom recycling factory in Vietnam was busted for washing and reselling more than 300,000 used condoms in a raid by police.
The police team who raided the factory stated that the operation is dangerous as the factory was found cleaning and reshaping dirty condoms.
The operator named Pham, a 32 year old lady allegedly had thousands of condoms delivered per month to the facility in Tan Uyen Town.

She would receive the goods from unknown sources and her alleged task was to clean, dry and sort the condoms before processing them to look fresh again for new customer.
Several STDs can’t be disinfected with soap and water alone hence the danger in using these condoms. Second, the risk of the condoms breaking is also increases thus heightening the risk of contracting an STD. The re-utilization of used condoms is extremely dangerous.
