Nintendo, one of the leading game console makers, mentioned that production for its popular Nintendo Switch could face production shortages.
The company made the announcement in their financial year report, following a similar warning from from Sony a week ago.

The company expects a 12% drop in sales for March 2022 due to shortage of semiconductor chips, despite an expected gaming boom.
The estimated sales for 2021-2022 was 25.5 million units, a drop of approximately 11% compared to the previous year, which stood at 28.8 million units sold.
Netizens are also worried that there may be a delay for the launch of its successor, Nintendo Switch 2.
