In the video, the man is seen giving Musk’s sheepish smile, while muttering something in mandarin.
Since the video emerged, it has been shared several thousand times, garnering the attention of news outlets across the world.
One netizen even commented that “Anything, just anything you can find in China” — referring to China’s manufacturing prowess.
Another netizen also mentioned that the man in the video could be using a deepfake — facial editing made by video software.
Irregardless if it was the latter, the man has since become an internet sensation all over the world.
