China has issued a new rule limiting gamers under 18 year-old to 1 hour a day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday & public holidays.
The measure sets a time limit between 8pm to 9pm for minors, aims to combat gaming addiction.

This set of rules replaces the previous rules set in 2019, where minors were only allowed maximum 90 minutes play time a day & 3 hours on public holidays.
However, the direct impact on gaming companies such as Tencent is limited as minors only accounted for a small portion of their revenues.
