Two former US prison employees and their supervisor face cruelty charges after they forced inmates to stand handcuffed for hours and listen to the children’s song Baby Shark on repeat.
At least four inmates were handcuffed and stood next to a wall while the song played on a loop at a loud volume for hours. The separate incidents occurred in November and December 2019.
The misdemeanour charges were filed Monday against the staff and their supervisor on Monday.

The song Baby Shark was a song released in 2016 by Pink Fong and went viral reaching 6.7billion views on Youtube. Since then, the Baby Shark dance challenge become popular among celebrities and social influencers around the world.
