Apple has just announced the launch of a brand new iPad Pro, which comes in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes.
The new iPad Pro looks identical to the previous generation introduced last year, but features many new hardware enhancements.
Some of the hardware enhancements include:
- A new, faster processor
- A new camera system with a LIDAR scanner for depth sensing (great for AR)
- A new portable keyboard to go with the iPad.
The new iPads will come in silver and gray, with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage options available.
Prices start at US$799, and a fully maxed-out 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 1TB of storage and LTE support costs $1,649 (Include the new keyboard at $349 and it’ll be $1,998).
Apple also unveiled a series of new advertisements for the iPad, one of them in particular emphasising on breaking the age old stereotype of how one uses a computer.
In the same announcement to journalists, Apple also unveiled a refreshed Macbook Air with many performance upgrades.
More information on the new releases can be obtained on Apple’s official website.
