Malaysian home-brew tea company, Alocha Kombucha, is on a mission to help Malaysians lead healthier lifestyles with a very unique tea drink.
The company aims to substitute Malaysians’ soft drinks consumption with Kombucha, which is quickly becoming a new favorite among health enthusiasts.
Kombucha is a fermented, slightly alcoholic, lightly effervescent, sweetened tea drink commonly consumed for its supposed health benefits.
It is typically made out of black tea or green tea, and contains probiotics as well as amino acids that are beneficial to the digestive system.
While the lifestyle of consuming kombucha has yet to become famous in Malaysia, more and more people are starting to pay attention to this drink as a health alternative.
Since the movement control order (MCO) was announced, Alocha has successfully served more than 60 families where all of them are new to the Kombucha drink.
Moving forward, the company aims to expand across Klang Valley, bringing their healthy drink to more fellow Malaysians.
Alocha offers deals for as low as RM50 for 5 bottles of kombucha, where orders can be made via their Facebook page.
