Local travel is picking up, and AirAsia is getting ready for it.
In a recent press statement, AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes mentions that the airline will begin resuming all domestic flight routes from July onwards, with more flights to be added over time.
While he did not specify the frequency of the flights, he did mention that it would depend largely on the demand.
“As for the frequency, that will depend on demand. People want to fly, they want to go home, they want to resume businesses.

Earlier today, AirAsia launched the company’s new business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform, OURFARM, as part of a strategic partnership with the Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry to future-proof existing businesses.
OURFARM aims to support over 1,000 government contract farmers as well as owners of private farms who have been severely affected by the pandemic.
