Aina Abdul, Malaysians’ artist has been on cloud 9 in recent weeks, with her music career growing by great strides.
Aina has one more achievement to celebrate after winning Best Vocals and Popular Singers (together with Khai Bahar) at Anugerah Juara Lagu 36 earlier this month.
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Nur Aina Abdul Ghani, was chosen by Spotify to participate in its Equal Singapore and Malaysia initiative, where she was recently featured on Times Square billboard in New York, United States.
On March 25, Aina shared a snapshot of the Times Square billboard advertisement on her Instagram.

Equal is the international campaign of the streaming giant that promotes gender equality in music. Spotify chose Malaysian women group Dolla and 19-year-old Layla Sania for the program last year.
Aina learned last month that her English track Fool had been picked up for rotation by a Japanese radio station.
